The present study was conducted for the collection and isolation of tea plants affected by pathogens for the selection of the best tea variety. The most common fungal diseases attack was observed for the first time in our local condition on both Camellia sinensis L.& Camellia assamica L.planted at a Unilever Icherian and Battal field. Both have narrow and broad-leaved varietal characters. In this vary experiment selected both narrow and broad leaves tea varieties i.e Jue Keng, P-3, P-5 and P-9. The survey was carried out at different locations in district Mansehra and Battal for pathogen identification through different protocols. It was found that there are two types of fungal diseases i.e. Brown Blight and Grey blight. There was a fungal attack on tea plant disease Grey blight attack on P-9 at Unilever Icherian. No fungal diseases were recorded in the Battal field.
