About the journal
International Journal of Preventive, Curative & Community Medicine (IJoPCCM) is published by Advanced Research Publications and is a peer reviewed, indexed, print and online journal published biannually with print ahead online version. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents. There will be special issues focusing on a particular aspect every year. The journal’s full text is available online.
IJoPCCM publishes editorials, original research, case reports, short report, critical review articles, letter to editor, research methodology, updates on treatment guidelines & protocol, newer drugs and medicine, health & Community models, policy analysis, methodology articles, hypothesis, commentaries, perspectives, medical & community news, opinions/ viewpoints to improve scientific knowledge in medical & social science. The journal would also, periodically, run sections for: Lessons from the history; Voices from the people/ civil society/ NGOs; Qualitative research; conference briefs and Field notes.
IJoPCCM will welcome articles from the field of all specialties of clinical, as well as basic medical science (medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology and obstetrics, psychiatry, anaesthesia, paediatrics, orthopaedics, microbiology, pathology and laboratory medicine, medical education, health management, medical informatics, health economics, health ethics, health promotion, management of diseases, health care of specific groups of population, medical statistics, health information systems, intersectoral and translational medicine, forensic medicine, medical ethics, community medicine and public health, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, biophysics, etc). Articles must be of high academic/ clinical quality and the Journal allows freedom to the authors to submit articles as long as the basic focus is adhered to. The decision of the Editor to publish a paper in concurrence with Associate Editors and Reviewer’s opinion is considered final.
